Put your best foot forward with these tips when you go for your next spa treatment.
BE EARLY Arrive 15 minutes before your treatment so that you don’t push back someone else’s schedule. You’ll also get more time to relax properly and settle down.
SILENCE IS GOLDEN Turn your mobile phone off or switch on the silent mode. Nothing kills the mood like a jarring ringtone just as you’re dozing off.
ANSWER NATURE’S CALL Make sure you relieve yourself before commencing with your treatment. Having a massage with a full bladder with another 90 minutes to go is not a very comforting thought.
We tried one of Ozmosis Health and Day Spa’s bestselling treatments, and here’s what we have to say:
Ultimate Indulgence
3 hours 30 min, RM530 (salt scrub, aromatherapy bath, therapeutic body wrap, 1-hour aromatherapy massage and a mani-pedi) “If you have the whole day off, then this is for you. It’s not called ‘Ultimate Indulgence’ for nothing! What more could you ask for, seriously? I was sweating profusely during the body wrap, which the therapist said was good for someone who doesn’t particularly love exercising. The mani-pedi was a good way to end the day: winding down while sipping sweet ginger tea and chatting with the friendly staff. I would have preferred more colour selections for the
mani-pedi, though.” – Michelle Tan, beauty writer.
